As the VP of Sales Engineering, Pat works with clients to tackle complex business problems with technical solutions that leverage the latest advancements in AI and natural language processing. He brings a wealth of software engineering expertise particularly in the search solutions domain, but also in subject-matter expertise in anti-money laundering, know your customer requirements, and adverse media screening for financial compliance. Prior to Babel Street, Pat spent the last 20 years of his career in combined business and technology roles: he began in finance and accounting — including as an auditor for a big four accounting firm and positions requiring Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance certification — and transitioned to information technology where he spent over a decade specializing in design and implementation of systems improvement and streamlining process efficiencies.
